Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    6 level Tbsp. powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff.
    Add sugar one tablespoon at a time.
    Add vanilla and beat until peaks stand up.
    (Do not underbeat.)
    Cover pie well and brown in a 350\u00b0 oven, approximately 10 to 12 minutes.
