Mrs. Waffsie'S Sour Cream Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cubes butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 1/2 oz. pkg. chopped pecans
    4 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and vanilla.
    Mix in eggs and sour cream. Sift together flour, baking soda and baking powder and add to cream mixture.
    Set aside.
    Mix chopped nuts and sugar in another bowl.
    Pour half of batter in an ungreased 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish, spreading evenly.
    Sprinkle half of nut-sugar topping.
    Add top layer of batter.
    Sprinkle on remaining topping. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 12.
