Maple Lace Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. maple syrup
    1/3 c. butter
    1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
    1/2 c. unbleached flour
Preparation
    Boil maple syrup and butter together for 1/2 minute.
    Allow to cool to room temperature.
    Add flour and nuts.
    Mix well.
    Drop by small teaspoon onto greased baking sheets.
    Allow at least 3 inches between cookies.
    They spread.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Cool on baking sheet for 30 to 60 seconds and remove very carefully, using an upside down spatula.
    Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
    They do not freeze well.
    Store warm and dry.
