Sweet Green Pea Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans peas, drained
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 medium size jar chopped pimento
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. grated cheese (Cheddar or American)
    buttered cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Drain peas; place in bottom of baking dish.
    Add on top of peas, onion, pimentos and cheese.
    Repeat second can of peas, onion, pimentos and cheese; salt and pepper to taste (usually very little).
    Pour the cream of celery soup over the ingredients. Sprinkle on top the buttered cracker crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until bubbly and crumbs are browned.
    Serves 8 to 10 people.
