Raisin Pecan Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    6 eggs
    4 c. flour
    3 c. chopped pecans
    1 Tbsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. brandy or 2 Tbsp. rum extract
    1 lb. seedless raisins
Preparation
    Cream butter and brown sugar together.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift the flour, baking powder and nutmeg together.
    Add gradually and beat until well blended.
    Stir in brandy.
    Fold in raisins and pecans.
    Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake in a 300\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour and 40 minutes.
    Cool slightly in pan before removing to rack to cool.
    Wrap and store for at least a week.
