Baked Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. lean beef, cut into pieces
2 c. onions, diced large
2 c. potatoes, large chunks
2 c. carrots, large chunks
2 c. celery, large chunks
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
5 Tbsp. tapioca
1 tsp. sugar
3 c. V-8 juice
Preparation
-
In Dutch oven or roaster with tight fitting lid, layer ingredients in order listed.
Do not stir.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 5 hours.
No browning necessary.
When done, the gravy is thick and brown.
