Apricot Bread("A Favorite From The '76 Cookbook.") - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 3/4 c. flour (not sifted before measuring)
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
dash of salt
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. dried apricots
1 c. walnuts
Preparation

Cut apricots into coarse pieces and pour 1 cup boiling water over them.
Set aside to cool, stirring once or twice.
Mix first 4 ingredients.
Beat eggs.
Add sugar, beating well again.
Stir apricot and water mixture and then fold into flour mixture until blended.
Break walnuts into pieces and add to batter.
Grease loaf pan and line with waxed paper.
Pour in batter and bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
