Turtles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
    1 box light brown sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 lb. butter
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 lb. pecan halves
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
    1/6 stick paraffin wax
Preparation
    Cook the Eagle Brand milk, brown sugar, Karo syrup, butter, salt and vanilla to a soft ball stage.
    Take pecan halves and place in 3's on aluminum foil or wax paper to resemble a turtle. Melt in double boiler the chocolate chips and paraffin wax.
    Pour caramel over the pecans by the spoonfuls and then cover with the melted chocolate.
    Cool well.
