Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe

2 1/4 c. flour
1 2/3 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. buttermilk
3 eggs
1 1/4 c. mashed ripe bananas
2/3 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour 1 (13 x 9-inch), 2 (9-inch) or 3 (8-inch) round layer pans.
Measure all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Blend 1/2 minute on low speed, scraping bowl constantly.
Beat 3 minutes on high speed, scraping bowl occasionally.
