Rolled Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. sweet milk
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar.
    Combine egg and milk.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients alternately with creamed mixture.
    Roll on floured surface 1/4-inch thick and cut with cookie cutters.
    Bake 10 minutes.
    Do not overbake.
    Put in an airtight container while still warm.
