Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 7 oz. elbow macaroni (about 2 c.)
    2 Tbsp. grated onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3 c. shredded mild Cheddar cheese (about 3/4 c. per lb.)
    2 c. thin white sauce
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Cook macaroni according to package directions.
    Place half macaroni in ungreased 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with half the onion, salt, pepper and cheese; repeat. Pour White Sauce over casserole and dot with butter.
    Cover and bake 30 minutes.
    Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.
