Apple Dumplins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. Crisco
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
sugar
cinnamon
diced apples
Preparation

Mix and roll out like any pastry.
Divide into 8 equal portions and roll out each piece flatter (not too thin though) using first 5 ingredients.
Put dough into a 9 x 13-inch pan; add apples to each section, then sprinkle 1 teaspoon sugar and dash of cinnamon on each portion.
Fold edges over to cover apples going from corner to corner with a peak in middle.
Bake for 10 minutes or until brown at 350\u00b0, then using following ingredients, pour syrup over apples and bake an additional 20 minutes.
