Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. sirloin steak
    flour
    salt and pepper
    onions, sliced
    oil
Preparation
    Cut steak in pieces.
    Flour and brown on both sides; remove from pan.
    Roll onion in flour; brown in oil.
    Layer meat and onion (covered with water) in covered casserole.
    Cook at 325\u00b0 for 2 hours.
    Served with rice or mashed potatoes.
