Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1/2 lb. butter or oleo
    6 eggs
    1 c. fresh coconut, grated
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 wine glass whiskey
    1 qt. pecans
    1 box seeded raisins
    1 box dates
    1/4 lb. cherries
    1/4 lb. glaced pineapple
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter together; add eggs, beaten slightly. Sift flour with baking powder (use some of flour mixture with cut up fruit).
    Add flour and whiskey; add nuts and coconut.
    Stir. Add floured fruits and fold in.
    Using Bundt pan, lightly greased and floured, bake in slow oven at 300\u00b0 for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
    Test with cake tester.
    Toothpick should come out clean.
