Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 stick butter or oleo
4 Tbsp. cocoa
2 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter
Preparation

Mix sugar and cocoa.
Stir in milk slowly.
Add butter and cook 1 1/2 minutes.
Count time when rolling boil starts.
Have large bowl ready with oats, nuts, vanilla and peanut butter.
Pour hot mix over oat mix and stir well.
Drop on waxed paper.
One cup of ground peanuts may be used instead of peanut butter.
