Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stew beef
    1/4 c. bell pepper, diced
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1 carrot, diced
    2 c. water
    1 large potato, diced
    1/2 c. celery, diced
    1 pt. tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook beef in water until tender.
    Combine butter and flour in saucepan.
    Add water gradually cooking until slightly thickened. Simmer all vegetables and salt and pepper for about 20 minutes. Combine all ingredients together and simmer for 10 more minutes on low heat.
    Yields approximately 6 servings.
