Cranberry Cottage Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 large egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. cranberries (fresh or frozen)
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together. Add slightly beaten egg. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk. Add cranberries last. Bake in greased 8 x 8-inch pan for 40 minutes at 350\u00b0. For a double recipe, use 9 x 13-inch pan.
