Italian Sausage Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed or 1 loaf recipe yeast dough, homemade
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. Italian sausage, browned and drained, casing removed
    1 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
    1 egg
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    minced onion (optional)
    minced pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Roll dough out on floured board into an 18 x 6-inch rectangle. Spread the remaining ingredients over dough.
    Roll up jelly roll style.
    Transfer to greased cookie sheet and form into a ring. Pinch closed all edges.
    Mix egg and 1 teaspoon milk and brush on filled bread ring.
    With a sharp knife make slashes on top of ring, 1 1/2-inches apart.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Cover and let rise 30 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Leftovers may be placed in the fridge and eaten cold.
