Candied Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium sweet potatoes
6 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 c. white syrup
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
Preparation

Slice potatoes and lay in large frying pan.
Add other ingredients on top of potatoes.
Put lid on and start on high heat until lid is hot to touch.
Turn heat down and cook until potatoes are tender and slightly brown.
