Ingredients

2 c. dates
1 c. water
1/2 to 1 c. pecans
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. diet butter
2 c. oats
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cook dates, water and pecans until thick.
Sift dry ingredients; add oats and melted butter.
Spread half mixture in greased pan.
Cover with date mixture; then top with rest of mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Cool and cut into squares.
