Sweet And Sour Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, cut in small slivers
    1 c. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. oil
    2 cans French-cut green beans (reserve liquid)
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Put beans and onion in a bowl. Bring vinegar, sugar, oil and 1/3 cup bean liquid to a boil.
    Pour over beans and onion. Marinate in refrigerator overnight.
