Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. drained crushed pineapple
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until smooth; add eggs.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
Add flour mixture to dough; blend in pineapple.
Chill 1 hour.
Drop by teaspoons.
Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 8 dozen.
