Strawberry Banana Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened milk
    1 c. cold water
    1 (4 serving size) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
    2 c. (1 pt.) Borden whipping cream, stiffly whipped (or use Cool Whip)
    1 pt. fresh strawberries, cleaned and sliced
    2 bananas, sliced and dipped in real lemon juice
    1 (10 3/4 oz. to 12 oz.) prepared loaf pound cake (or use angel food cake)
    additional strawberries and banana slices
Preparation
    In large bowl, combine sweetened milk and water.
    Add pudding mix; beat well.
    Chill 5 minutes.
    Fold in whipped cream or Cool Whip, then strawberries and bananas.
    Line side and bottom of 3 1/2-quart glass serving bowl with cake slices.
    Spoon pudding mixture into prepared bowl.
    Cover; chill.
    Garnish with additional strawberries and banana slices.
    Refrigerate leftovers.
