Granny'S Lindberg Special - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 carrots
    8 peppers (4 red and 4 green)
    2 medium heads cabbage
    2 onions
    1/2 c. salt
    2 tsp. mustard
    2 tsp. celery seed
    1 qt. vinegar
    5 c. sugar
Preparation
    Grind the vegetables.
    Mix together well.
    Add salt and cover with water.
    Let stand three hours.
    Drain well.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix well and put into jars.
    Process as for pickles.
