Pita Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast (1 Tbsp.)
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    3 c. warm water
    9 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Combine yeast, sugar and water; let stand 5 minutes.
    Add mixture to dry ingredients and mix well.
    Turn dough onto well-floured surface.
    Divide dough in half.
    Cover half and set aside.
    Divide one portion of dough into 10 equal pieces.
    Knead each piece until smooth and elastic.
    Shape each into a ball. Cover with a damp towel.
    Repeat process with second half of dough.
    Let dough rise in warm place 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Place each ball on well floured surface and roll into a 6-inch circle.
    Cover with damp towel and let rise 1 hour.
