Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. half and half or whipping cream
    1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Melt butter or margarine in a 2 to 3 quart pan.
    Add brown sugar and half and half or whipping cream.
    Quickly bring to full boil.
    Boil, stirring for 1 minute.
    Remove from heat.
    Let cook at room temperature to lukewarm.
    Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth.
