Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large onions, sliced
    1 large green pepper, minced
    3 tsp. fat
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 c. cooked tomatoes
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 tsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Fry onions and green pepper in fat until onions become yellow.
    Add meat and fry until mixture falls apart. Stir in rest of ingredients and pour into greased 2-quart baking dish.
    Cover and bake 1 hour, removing cover for the last 15 minutes.
