Old Fashioned Cream Pie(Old Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 level Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. light brown sugar or 1/2 brown and 1/2 white
pinch of salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 pt. (2 c.) rich cream

Preparation

Mix cornstarch, sugar, salt and nutmeg.
Add cream; combine well.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Dot with bits of butter. When pie is baking, stir with a fork several times to prevent settling.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until filling is set and brown.
