Ernie'S Freezer Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 Tbsp. pickling salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    7 c. thinly sliced cucumber
    1 large onion, thinly sliced
    1 c. green pepper, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Combine sugar, white vinegar, pickling salt and celery seed in a saucepan and bring to a boil until syrupy.
    Let cool.
    Mix the cucumber, onion and green pepper in a glass or plastic bowl.
    Pour the syrup over all.
    Cover and refrigerate.
    Stir once a day for 5 days. Put into smaller containers and freeze.
