Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. coconut
chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients, oatmeal, Rice Krispies, coconut and nuts.
Roll into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
