Date Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. dates
1 qt. pecans
4 eggs
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 heaping tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Chip pecans and dates.
Add flour, sugar, baking powder and pinch of salt, then add eggs and vanilla; mix thoroughly.
Bake in greased and floured tube pan 1 hour at 350\u00b0 or until done.
