Chocolate Caramel Bars - cooking recipe

2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. Miracle Whip Light
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 (14 oz.) pkg. Kraft caramels
1/4 c. milk
1 c. chocolate bits
1 c. Skor bits
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine first 7 ingredients at medium speed until blended. Reserve 1 cup of batter.
Spread remaining batter into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool 10 minutes.
Melt caramels with milk in a heavy saucepan on low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
