Jell-O Poke Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9x13) white or yellow cake, baked and cooled
    1 cup boiling water
    1 pkg strawberry jello
    1/2 cup cold water
    1 (12 oz) Cool Whip
    1 carton frozen strawberries, thawed
    fresh strawberries
Preparation
    Prick cake with large two pronged fork at 1/2 inch intervals. Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Add cold water and spoon over cake layers.
    Chill 4 hours.
    Mix Cool Whip and thawed strawberries.
    Frost cake and garnish with sliced fresh strawberries.
