Swedish Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. diced apples
    2/3 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix egg and sugars; add remaining ingredients in order given. Pour into greased 8-inch pie pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Top with whipped cream or serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
