Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cloves garlic
    1 medium onion
    small amount of oil
    1 c. rice (not instant)
    pinch of saffron
    1 can consomme
    3 cans hot water (use consomme empty can to measure)
    1 small jar pimientos
    1 jar mushrooms
Preparation
    Chop garlic and onion.\tSaute in a small amount of oil. Add rice
    and
    stir
    for
    a few minutes to pick up the flavor. Add saffron, consomme, water, pimientos and mushrooms.\tBring to a boil and bake covered in a 10-inch Dutch oven for 1 hour over medium heat.
