Wilted Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices bacon
1/2 c. onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. shredded cabbage
Preparation

Cook bacon in a large skillet until crisp; remove bacon and reserve drippings in pan.
Crumble bacon and set aside.
Add onion, sugar, vinegar and salt to drippings in skillet, stirring until blended.
Stir in cabbage.
Cook over medium heat, uncovered, for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle with reserved bacon.
