Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Italian sausage
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. whole basil
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    10 oz. lasagna noodles
    3 eggs
    3 c. fresh Ricotta or cottage cheese
    2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin
Preparation
    Brown meat slowly; spoon off fat.
    Add next 5 ingredients. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Cook noodles in boiling water until tender.
    Drain and rinse.
    Beat eggs; add remaining ingredients (except the cheese).
    Layer half the noodles in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish; spread with half the Ricotta mixture, then half the meat sauce and then half the Mozzarella.
    Repeat, using the rest of the noodles, mixtures and cheese.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
    Serves 8.
