Beef Rouladen(Very Old Recipe From Germany; A Terrific Treat.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. Dijon mustard
    8 slices top round steak (1/4-inch thick; about 2 lb.)
    salt and pepper to taste or no salt Cavender's
    8 bacon strips
    1 large onion, cut into thin wedges
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
    3 c. beef broth
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. water
    chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Preparation
    VARIATION: Add water to beef broth; bacon salts it enough.
