Marinated Polish Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. Polish sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
    12 oz. chili sauce
    1/2 c. catsup
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1 bay leaf, broken up
    4 whole allspice
    1 onion, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. sweet red wine
Preparation
    Cover Polish sausage with water and bring to a boil.
    Remove; rinse and set aside.
    Put meat in bottom of slow cooker.
    Place onion on meat.
    Add sauce (remaining ingredients) on top.
    Slow cook several hours, until onion is very tender.
