Italian Anisette Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 c. scalded milk
    1 stick butter
    3 tsp. salt
    3 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. Anisette
Preparation
    Add butter to scalded milk to soften. Make a well in flour and add salt, sugar, milk, butter, egg, flavoring and dissolved yeast. Mix to a soft dough. Let rise and double in size.
    Break off three pieces the size of an egg and roll each piece into a rope.
    Pinch rope together at one end and braid.
    Brush with milk and sprinkle with poppy seed.
    Let rise and bake at 425\u00b0 until done.
