Diane'S Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 c. squash
    1 onion, chopped
    2 carrots, grated
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 stick margarine
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 1/2 c. Ritz cracker crumbs
    dash of cayenne pepper
    salt and pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Cook and drain squash.
    Mix squash, onion, carrots, egg, mayonnaise and sugar.
    Put 1/2 of cracker crumbs and cheese into buttered casserole dish.
    Pour squash mixture over crumbs, then add remaining cheese and crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
