Cream Cheese Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks butter
    6 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    3 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    3 c. sifted cake flour or 3 c. sifted plain flour minus 6 Tbsp.
Preparation
    Have butter, cream cheese and eggs at room temperature.
    Cream butter and cream cheese thoroughly (about 10 minutes).
    Add sugar. Beat another 10 minutes, scraping sides of bowl.
    Add eggs and beat another 10 minutes.
    Add flavoring and salt.
    Add flour gradually on slow speed.
    Beat only until mixed well.
    Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
    Put into a cold oven.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Do not peek while baking!!!
