Sweet & Sour Pork(Chicken, Shrimp, Etc....) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean pork (cut in 2 1/2-in. strips)
    2 Tbsp. hot shortening
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    1-20 oz. can of pineapple chunks
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 med. green pepper (cut into strips)
    1/4 c. thinly sliced onions
    hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Brown pork slowly in hot shortening:
    add 1 cup water, bouillon cube and 1/4 teaspoon salt; mix well.
    Cover and simmer until tender (approx. 1 hr.).
