Auntie Bee'S Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    2 1/4 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Beat butter and sugar in large bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Blend in sour cream and vanilla. Gradually add combined dry ingredients.
    Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
    Roll dough 1/3 at a time, on lightly floured surface, to 3/8-inch thickness.
    Cut with cookie cutters.
    Place 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets; sprinkle with sugar, if desired, or leave off sugar and frost.
