Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    2 large green peppers
    2 red peppers
    2 large onions
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Shred the first 4 ingredients.
    Bring sugar, vinegar, celery seed, turmeric powder, salt and pepper to boil.
    Mix together with cabbage, peppers and onions.
    Let stand for 8 hours before eating.
