Skillet Chicken Paella - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb. skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite size strips
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 1/4 c. chicken broth
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 tsp. dried oregano
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 medium bell pepper
    3/4 c. frozen peas
Preparation
    Rinse chicken; pat dry.
    Cook in 10-inch skillet in hot oil for 2 or 3 minutes.
    Remove from skillet.
    Cook garlic and onion until tender, but not brown.
    Remove pan from heat.
    Add broth, uncooked rice, oregano, paprika, salt and pepper.
    Bring to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, covered, about 15 minutes.
    Add tomatoes, bell pepper and frozen peas.
    Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
    Stir in cooked chicken and cook 1 minute or more.
