Yellow Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/4 c. Ritz crackers
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. yellow squash, sliced
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. instant minced onion
Preparation
    Toss melted butter and crumbs; set aside.
    Cook squash in water until tender.
    Put in a 1-quart casserole dish.
    Mix together mayonnaise, egg, cheese, margarine, sugar and onion. Pour over squash, mixing well.
    Add crumbs topping.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
