Little Fried Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. dried apples or peaches
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    Fried Pie Pastry (recipe follows)
    vegetable oil
    sugar
Preparation
    Combine apples and water in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer about 30 minutes or until tender. Cool.
    Mash slightly if necessary.
    Stir in 1/2 cup of sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
