Ingredients

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Melt butter in saucepan.
Remove from heat.
Blend in sugar; add eggs, one at a time.
Beat well after each.
Add vanilla. Sift in flour.
Stir to mix thoroughly.
Gently stir in chopped nuts.
Turn into greased oblong pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch).
Spread evenly.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
