Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Cream the Crisco, sugars, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Sift together the dry ingredients. Stir into creamed mixture; blend well.
Add chocolate chips.
Drop from tablespoon 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove from sheet to cool.
Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
